Business Development Manager - Denver, CO

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide technical and commercial guidance, perform basic support, and maintain expertise in the products and services we offer to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and support.  

The ideal candidate will know how to identify new opportunities, prospect for new business, perform ongoing sales and basic technical support, develop and perform technical product/system/solution presentations, and have outstanding communications skills.  Experience selling RTU/PLC/EFM Solutions, HMI/SCADA, Industrial Radio Telemetry, and Automation solutions in the Oil & Gas, Building Controls, and/or Water/Waste Water markets strongly preferred. We will provide training on our specific product lines. Travel within the assigned territory is required. 

 Skills & Experience Required

  • ​Outstanding Communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated successful technical sales experience in industrial automation.  
  • Direct market experience in one of the following markets: Building Automation/Controls; Electric G&T; Manufacturing; Municipal Utilities; Oil & Gas; Petrochemical; Water; Waste water. 
  • Experience selling at all levels of an organization (Field; Engineering; Finance; Procurement; Marketing; C-level). 
  • Exceptional work ethic; demonstrated results as a self-starter; high level of transparency/integrity; competitive spirit with collaborative engagement.

 Skills & Experience Highly Desired

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful technical sales experience in industrial automation with specific market experience in at least 2 of our target vertical markets:  Building Automation/Controls; Electric G&T; Manufacturing; Municipal Utilities; Oil & Gas; Petrochemical; Water; Wastewater.
  • ​Demonstrated technical knowledge in industrial devices such as RTU/PLC or EFM/GFC Solutions, Industrial Radio Frequency (RF) Communications, HMI/SCADA Software, etc.
  • Hands on programming, configuration and troubleshooting experience with PLC/RTU/PAC systems, HMI SCADA Software, Wireless Communications and/or Industrial Networking.  
  • Experience with Industrial Instrumentation solutions such as level, pressure and temperature monitoring.
