Business Development Manager - No current open positions

Position Description

We are seeking a self-motivated leader to introduce industry proven and new products/solutions to industrial automation markets including Oil & Gas, Utilities and Building Controls. In this position you will provide commercial and technical guidance, develop and perform product and solution demonstrations, maintain strong customer relationships, perform “level 1” support, and develop expertise in the products and services we represent and distribute. 

To be successful in this position you must know how to identify new opportunities, be willing to prospect for new business, and have proven success in opening new accounts. Candidates with 3+ years of experience selling industrial automation products such as PLC/RTU/DCS Systems, HMI/SCADA Software, Analytics solutions, wireless communications, and/or other monitoring & control solutions are preferred. We will provide training on our specific product lines. Travel within the assigned territory is required.


  • Demonstrated base technical knowledge in industrial automation hardware and software solutions such as PLC/RTU/DCS Systems, HMI/SCADA Software, remote monitoring solutions, etc. 
  • A fundamental understanding of industrial automation requirements/needs. 
  • 3+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience in technical sales, and a successful track record of selling to one or more of our targeted verticals: Oil and Gas; Utilities; Building Controls.
  • Experience selling at all levels of an organization (Engineering; Finance; Procurement; Marketing; C-level).
  • Proven success in sales team environment – a true can-do, team player.
