Before you call the manufacturer — call us

When something isn't working, the last thing you need is to navigate a manufacturer's support queue, explain your application from scratch to someone who has never seen your system, and wait days for a response that may or may not solve your problem.


That's not how support works at PCD.


The majority of technical issues are resolved through PCD without ever needing to involve the manufacturer. When escalation is necessary, we handle it on your behalf — with the product knowledge and manufacturer relationships to get answers faster than going it alone.

You can use the Key Replacement form on the Web Licensing site to start the process of recovering a lost or broken license.

To recover a lost license:

  1. Go to https://licensing.iconics.com/ and log in with your user name and password.
  2. From the sidebar, select Key Replacement.
  3. On the New Replacement Form tab, click Fill the Software Key Replacement Form.
  4. Complete the form, and then click Submit Form. Our Support Center will process your form and get back to you as soon as possible to inform you that your license is ready to be reactivated or to let you know whether further steps are required.


 

  1. License Activation ID MUST be under current Support and Maintenance agreement to be eligible for reset
  2. Kepware Technical Support resets License Activation ID and notifies customer
  3. Open local server License Utility
  4. Select Repair
    • If Online Activation enabled
      • Enter My Kepware username and password credentials click Next
    • If Offline Activation enabled
      1. Click Save to file select location where new activation_request.txt file will be written to
      2. Leave local server License Utility opened
      3. Logon to the My Kepware portal
      4. Select Activate Product License
      5. Upload activation_request.txt 
      6. Retrieve activation_response.txt
      7. Download activation_response.txt file
      8. Open License Utility select Import and upload activation_response.txt file
      9. Status will reflect original Support End Date of License Activation ID 
      • If Support End Date is incorrect see CS292377 Importing a license renewal
  • All Kepware Server (formerly KEPServerEX)  licenses are shipped as a License Activation ID and an accompanying Emergency License Activation ID
    • The Emergency License Activation ID can be activated following the CS273366 Standard activation procedure
      • ​This 7-day license can be used while the original activation issue is solved
      • Note: Be sure to remove the Emergency ID from the License Utility before activating the Activation ID again


TBox firmware updates are performed through TWinSoft, Ovarro's configuration software. Updated firmware files and release notes are available through the Ovarro Customer Support Portal. If you need guidance on the update procedure for your specific TBox model, contact PCD's technical team before proceeding — firmware updates on live systems require care and we're happy to walk you through it. 


OPTO 22 maintains comprehensive documentation — including user guides, I/O module datasheets, and groov Manage configuration references — on their support portal at opto22.com/support. For application-specific configuration guidance on water, oil and gas, or building automation projects, contact PCD directly. 


FlowWorx provides configuration documentation with the JT500. For BSAP protocol setup and integration with existing Bristol-based SCADA systems, PCD's technical team has direct application experience — contact us before you start and we'll save you time. 


Mitsubishi Electric FR-Series fault codes are documented in the parameter manual for your specific drive series. Contact PCD with your drive model and fault code and we'll help you diagnose the issue — most common fault conditions can be resolved quickly with the right parameter adjustment.
